  14. Yet another useless ArtWare-utility.  This one works only for
  15.  kickstart 37.175, and will replace some of the default system
  16.  interrupt servers (which are about the most heavily used code on the
  17.  Amiga) with more optimised code doing excactly the same.
  18. Some system speed increase when multitasking should be the result -
  19.  even more if you have available 32-bits ram.  Note - the speed
  20.  increase will not be appearent or very low in speed-test-programs, as
  21.  these usually disables interrupts when testing the system perform-
  22.  ance.
  23. IPatch should be totally transparent to the system, and should not
  24.  cause any other software to malfunction.  No warrants given, though -
  25.  some badly written software may set the interrupt vectors in a non-
  26.  system-friendly way, and could cause problems.
  27. IPatch WILL score "Enforcer-hits" and show altered vectors in virus-
  28.  test programs, but this is due to how IPatch does its job by patching
  29.  vectors.
  30. To use IPatch, run it from CLI, or put it in your S:Startup-Sequence
  31.  or S:User-Startup.  If you experience problems (gurus) with IPatch,
  32.  try SoftIPatch instead - this is a somewhat "kinder" version that
  33.  doesn't bang the hardware vectors at all.  But it is a weeny bit
  34.  slower.

  36. New in version 3.3 compared to 3.0:
  37.  Now there is a "HardIPatch" that should work with 3.0+ machines too.
  38.  Some routines speeded up.
  39. New in version 3.0 compared to 2.9:
  40.  Optimised even further.  Non-68010-equipped machines should benefit
  41.  most from the new code.  Two more interrupts patched.
  42. New in version 2.9 compared to 2.8:
  43.  A few cycles shaved off.
  44. New in version 2.8 compared to 2.5:
  45.  Hardware interrupts somewhat faster.
  46.  Should work on 68000 machines, and also with the KS in RAM.

  50. This program is FreeWare.  And since you don't pay anything for it,
  51.  don't expect me to feel guilty if this program by accident causes
  52.  your machine to show pictures of your mother-in-law, or starts
  53.  calling every friendly nuclear launch silo with fake orders...
